As one of the hottest Septembers in Bordeaux I can remember, I made a point of photographing the mornings and evenings, while avoiding the midday heat.
Being outside, early in the morning at this time of year was full of nostalgia for when I would ride my bike to and from school, a little over a year ago.
Leading lines in photography are an element of composition. In this set, I found that those lines were both from the light and the ground level detail: the benches which form a curve around place Tourny, or the X shape below the Grosse Cloche.
